I saw this question on the FB page. and I thought I'd throw my nickel in. For Verizon Phones, if you have a plan already; Verizon Q&ANaturally they won't have the pine listed, but finding the MEID, IMSI or IMEI should be simple enough as it should be on the box or on some sort of documentation that comes with the pine. For Sprint customers; They've made a video... Sprint VideoAnd naturally if you can't do this I recommend taking it to some techs at Verizon/Sprint and having them activate it on your account. Sometimes you'll find a bad one that wants to sell you a branded phone instead of customer service. No worries, just keep trying with someone else that will help, they can do it if they want to. Thoughts?

How certain is anyone that Verizon will activate one without messing up the OS and adding their bloatware?

I am hoping with any evidence that Sprint will allow the Pine. In that case I would assume that there will be no bloatware. If they sell it and you have to buy from them then there will be bloatware How certain is anyone that Verizon will activate one without messing up the OS and adding their bloatware?

Did the CDMA versions get approved by the FCC?

I just read that there will be no CDMA Pines. Can you confirm that, Brian?

That appears to be the case. Some are quite upset by it. But I knew before I pre-ordered that it was unlike that Sprint would allow it on their network. And I wasn't sure that I even wanted to use it as a stand alone.

I am not upset maybe because I did not preorder one. I still would have wanted to try it out.
