A car mount would be an accessory I would like. Anyone else? Any 3rd party universal type units anyone can point out?

At the moment maybe even when Pine arrive, the only option we have is the helmet mount. I was planning to use it to mount on my dashboard.

There's nothing on the market currently. I was thinking that it's about the same width as an iphone so one of those might work. you'd have to modify it not press the side buttons though.

Personally, I got an extra clip that I plan to use as the basis for a custom dash mount. we'll see how it goes.

Depending on what type of car you drive, here's where I plan on buying my mounting bracket. I only need the base since I like Chris purchased both clip and bumper. I connected them with Neptune about a month or so ago to see if they can design a holster for the Pine. I haven't heard anything as of yet, but I will post here if and when I hear something Mounting Base link. www.proclipusa.com/dashboard-mounts/vehicle/audi/a8/2011-2015/proclip-angled-mount-854606-13025.cmsv
I have a very good feeling about this holster for the Pine. In the picture you will notice four screws in each corner. The screws are there to adjust both sides of the holster for a better fit. If this holster works for my Pine, I will cut-to-fit two pieces of the fabric side of Velcro and install them in the two slotted areas on the holster. This way when I slide my Pine into the holster it won't get scratched. Oh! By the way that ugly label you see is removable. Attachments:

I've used brodit proclips for years with several different phones and they are quality products with a superb fit, never once has any phone been scratched by sliding them in and out.

And I've just realised that I've still got my iPhone 4 brodit holder, so I may make a custom holder for my Pine. Thanks for the idea EJ... much appreciated! Now to find those Pine dimensions and get to work on it so it's ready for when it's delivered... My month of waiting is going to fly by lol

Jair, I too have used proclip products for a very long time. I currently have one installed in my car for my iPhone 5S. I do agree with you on the high quality and fit. My phones have never been scratched either, I just made a suggestion using the Velcro as way for that added protection. I'm one of people who take pride in the things I purchase, hence if I ever decide to sale something I get top dollar because of its mint condition. P.S. You're welcome, just spreading the love for Pine fever

I guess Sugru will be ok for those who don't mind leaving a permanent scar on their dashboard. I prefer Proclip products because it is transferable and leaves no marks.

Also planning to make myself a Pine car holster/mount/thing. Mine will probably just involve clipping the Pine to something in my car, maybe assembling some contraption using the helmet mount, clip and whatever else I can find. +goes Macgyver+

I use Brodit car holders for about 12 years now. Think its the best I can get. Unfortunately, for some devices nor specific mounts are available, so I decided to give a try to the Brodit universal.
There are some different models, depending on the witht of my smartphone. I the moment I'm using a Zopo ZP980 dual sim and want to replace it with the neptune pine.
Additional to the car-secific Brodit ProClip I have a Brodit MoveClip to use the Zopo in several cars without sction mount on die wind shield, what I hate.
Unfortunately ther is no Brodit holder available for my Dell Venue8 Pro, which I use also as a navigation unit. So I bought a HAMA universal holder, but its much worde than Brodit.
I recommend highly the Brodit Universal for the pine. When I got mine, I will report.
