Hello all! I just purchased a samsung Galaxy Mega and I really like it! (to each their own....I get it My question is, when I tether my eagerly anticipated Pine to it, will I receive all notifications to include calls through it and will it be able share my data? Or will it be more like the Pebble only good for notifications? Hope my question makes sense and thanks in advance for your answers..............

From what I understand (and that isn't very much) the tethering app Neptune is creating includes things like notifications, calling, and data.

From the old Kickstarter comments this is Neptune's response when I asked about the the tethering app :
Creator Neptune on Dec 9 @vance: Yes! You may use this app on any Android phone! Basically you need to have the app installed on both phones and either of the phones can act as the "Master" or the "Slave". Thanks!

I think this is something interesting though. been thinking about that for a while now.
my guess is, Pine can do those things mentioned above. since Neptune has stated the needs of app in both phones as 'master' or 'slave'.
i have been using a similar device few years back, forgot its name. the device can be tethered using app so the phone will be its master and the device is the slave. i installed the app in my phone which i connect using bluetooth (the device can use sim, 3g and cloud data which has its own sdcard tray) and my phone will run like its a dual-sim phone.
i think what Neptune meant was like that. Cant wait for Pine any longer.........so many ideas...so many to dreamt of it...yet...march is too far though its near...

Alisha's response to XDA member Uncle Louie a couple of days ago:
"Hi, Lou
We are in the process of finalizing the app.
We hope to have it available with the launch.
Once we have more information on the release date of the app, we will inform our customers."
