Hi Guys.
In this thread we're gonna discuss and shares more about Pine Apps.
Firts of all do remember that Pine Original Android will be Android V.4.1.2/4.2 (depends on changes by Neptune).
Pine resolution is 320x240. Battery is 810 mah. 1.2 Ghz Dual Core Snapdragon S4 version (older/relevant). 512 ghz Ram. ........................................and thats basic info.....
So any suggestions will be very appreciatable and here we will compiled those suggested Apps based on their respective sites for -downloading or -testing or -donate and paid apps reslectively.
Any LINKS to the apps must be LEGAL AND ACCORDING TO LAW as we dont want this whole (Netune Pine Chat) thread closed for disrespect of the law.
Thanks and enjoy....our Pine and Apps...

I'm playing with the idea of creating a pine-only chat app... my computer doesn't like the pine-sized emulator I created though haha.
the only thing I know for sure I'm going to load is the audible app. other than that, I'll wait to see what the native fitness app is like.

you still got time for that Chris. really like that idea. we have our own PineChat App just like other social network apps. if you can make it more, like only people with Pine can use it, it'll be such a great app and maybe Neptune will...you know, make you their App Devs? another extra paycheck huh..hehe

Hmmmm pine app suggestions... I guess I have to think of what I hope to get out of this device. Obviously I want an app where we can choose from watch faces, I believe that is already built in but to be honest I don't know. Or maybe an app that has some sort of visual GUI that you can create your own watch face. Import images, resize and move the basic watch face, change the numbers, etc, just customization of the watch face. Since this is a SmartWatch that there will be a bunch of faces to choose from but I have't been in the community long enough. So we covered time.
Fitness: Something like all the fitness bands would be nice. Track your activity whether it is using the GPS to see how far and what path you took, to figuring out how many calories you've burned and etc. And maybe even if you arent' too active one day it can remind you and say "Hey dude, get off your but and do something active you hermit." Just to motivate.
Time: Mentioned the clock face, so now I suppose it's other time details. Alarms mainly. Different alarm sounds, and good settings so you can set an alarm that can be repeated or whatever. This sounds standard with most phones so this shouldn't be a task. I assume there are some alarm apps out there on the android store and what not.
Planning: Another thing about wearable tech is what you can see when you glance at the screen on your wrist. I would love a great calendar app which also seems not too novel of an idea. Something that can import gmail's calander, something where you can set how long before the calandered event it will give you a notification on the screen and if it will beep or vibrate or whatever. Something I can look through before I head off to start my day and scroll through quickly and be like, "crap I forgot about that, thanks Pine you beautiful piece of tech". Sort of a reminders app or whatever.
Directions: pretty standard, maybe even some for public transportation too. google maps or whatever is great.
Also maybe a find my pine app? It is small so if by some chance it isn't on the wrist and is lost, you can activate it via e-mail and it will override the screen and sound to tell you where it is. There's probably something like this. I know there's Find iPhone, so a similar concept, maybe one incorporates the gps too if you think it was stolen. Would be cool also if it was stolen you could override it so they can't even use the pine.
Music: An app where you can easily navigate for your songs, maybe it can see what songs you like more and create playlists for you if you want. Or maybe an app that can suggest songs for you or maybe you can choose a genre or event like "workout" to get workout music or "happy" to get happy music, etc.
An app that notifies you if your tethered phone is out of range, so you don't leave it anywhere.
Most of these probably already exist but maybe you can build off them. This is what I feel like I'll be using it for. Also depending on what they specify the tethering app does, maybe you can make one that supplements the functions. If you can't call through your tethered phone via your pine, maybe make it so you can, if you can control your music via your pine from your phone, make it so you can.
